Terms of Service
Effective date: January 1, 2024
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Wai'tuMusic (waitumusic.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Wai'tuMusic is operated by EventMappers Ltd. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
2. Platform Description
Wai'tuMusic is an artist-first music industry platform providing tools for booking management, contract generation, talent discovery, opportunity matching, revenue tracking, and related music industry services. The platform connects artists, event organisers, venues, labels, and industry professionals.
3. Eligibility & Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the platform independently. Users between 13 and 17 years old require verified parental or guardian consent.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete registration information and to keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent bans, suspensions, or platform restrictions.
4. Artist Profiles & Content
- You retain ownership of the content you upload (bios, photos, music samples, press releases).
- By uploading content you grant Wai'tuMusic a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.
- You represent that you hold all necessary rights to any content you upload and that it does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.
5. Bookings & Contracts
- Wai'tuMusic provides booking request tools and AI-assisted contract generation as a convenience. All contracts are between the artist and the engaging party; Wai'tuMusic is not a party to those contracts.
- We do not guarantee that any booking will be completed or that payments will be made. Artists and organisers are responsible for due diligence before entering agreements.
- Any disputes between artists and event organisers are to be resolved directly between the parties. Wai'tuMusic may provide mediation tools but has no legal obligation to resolve disputes.
6. OppHub — Opportunities Marketplace
- Opportunities listed on OppHub are sourced from public databases, partner organisations, and user submissions. Wai'tuMusic does not guarantee their accuracy, current availability, or eligibility criteria.
- Artists are responsible for verifying opportunity details directly with the listing organisation before applying.
- Fraudulent or misleading opportunity submissions will result in immediate account suspension.
7. Payments & Fees
- Certain premium features on Wai'tuMusic require a subscription or one-time payment. Pricing is displayed at the point of purchase.
- Payments are processed via Stripe. By making a payment you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at legal@eventmappers.com to request a refund.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to registered users.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content about yourself or others.
